Old Timer Garage

Today, still the same type of weather, sunny, cloudless, the day promise to be very nice once again and we are not complaining.

After the quiet day we had yesterday and a good night sleep, our batteries are fully charged again and we are ready to get on with our day.

It is once again very sunny outside when we wake up. We are well rested after the long walking day we had yesterday. And after a quick shower, we are all in the lift down the 22 floors to hand back the magnetic cards of our room.

Pahrump quiet is really relaxing after 24 hours in Las Vegas and the house we had for the night was perfect for us. The sun is raising on the desert and we have our breakfast while the temperature is still bearable.

Today is the first of the two days that we are going to spend in Los Angeles. The plan for today is: Walk of Fame and its stars, Hollywood and its mansions, the girls have two passes to visit Warner Bros studios and my brother and I will go see Malibu beach while we wait for them.

Second day in Los Angeles and I realize that during the whole time of this trip, we have slept in the same bed twice in a room only three times.

Today is our last day in the US. These two and a half weeks have really flown by and it is hard to think that we will spend the next night in the air and that in just over 24 hours I will be back in the office.

I think that it is easy to understand from what I wrote here that I loved this trip. I can say without exaggerating that these two and a half weeks were the best holidays of my life.

This part of the story doesn’t have much to do with American cars but it leads to it so I will try and cover it quickly to come back to the topic of interest.

For this second trip, considering how cheap the flights were, I managed to convince my mum to come with my wife and I so that she could see the US and where my brother lives so we will meet in London and then fly the three of us together to the US.
